That’s why at Jackalope Photo Studio, we don’t rely on it. Sure, we’ve got one window in the studio and three big ones in the front lobby — but we are not a natural light studio (and we absolutely love it).
Our setup uses professional constant LED lighting that gives us total control — soft, flattering, color-true light that looks amazing on every skin tone, every time. (And is super easy to use by just clicking it on and positioning it!) No matter the weather, time of day, or season, your photos will glow like magic. Consistent. Intentional. Unapologetically bold.

Another constant light with the ability to change the RGB of it just by downloading the Lume Control app. You can adjust the warmth and brightness on the dials on the back of the light.
This light is perfect for you to use for headshots, portraits or even to let a hair/makeup artist use while getting hair and/or makeup done. It has two flexible heads on it to move around, warmth and brightness is adjustable.
Rolling LED Window Wall
This light transforms the atmosphere from harsh overhead lighting to soft, natural light with just a click. You can easily dim the light from either the top or bottom, and the wall can be repositioned anywhere in the space. Measuring 8 feet tall by 9 feet wide, this wall serves as a versatile backdrop or light for any photos you want to capture.
If the plain walls aren’t cutting it for your vision, don’t worry — you’ve got options. Dive into any of the statement backdrops below — complimentary and ready to elevate your shoot. They’re 8ft tall by 12ft wide and fit best on the longest wall next to the bed.
But here’s the real talk: you’re on deck for setup and teardown. For these, you’ll need to grab the stand from the prop room and set it up where ever you want to have it.
Need tools? Clamps are in the rolling cart by the bathroom and there’s a steamer in one of the baskets if you need to smooth things out. Make it look sharp — you’ve got this.

We’ve got a solid lineup of seamless paper rolls in the studio, and yep — they’re yours to use, free of charge. Just don’t be that person. If you use one, roll it back up, tape it shut, and return it exactly where you found it. No excuses. No mess left for the next artist.
If you burn through a roll or it’s basically toast, please tell me before you leave so I can swap it out or order more. And if you trimmed any scraps or finished off a roll, take your trash with you. There’s a dumpster out back, so please put it out there and don't stuff my trash cans with that.

Milestone Props & Other Options
I have a TON of props in my prop room. There is everything from cow hide rugs to wooden soda crates to small chairs for milestones, birthday signs, one letters and disco balls. EVERYTHING in the prop room is free to use as you wish so have at it! I will be posting photos of some of my favorite options below, but there is more in the space so ask
