Inside? You’re working with 1,100 sq ft of curated creative energy — beautiful sets, clean lines, and a stash of newborn and milestone props ready to bring your sessions to life. From light and airy to dark and moody, this space has the range.

Boudoir
Got a thing for shadows and edge? There’s a bold, blacked-out corner of the studio built for dark + moody boudoir magic. Think sleek leather chair, deep leather couch, and if you're feeling cozy, throw down the air mattress and build your own sultry bed setup.
Swing to the other side and it’s a whole new world — bright, white, soft, and clean.
What type of sessions do well in here?
This space is pretty flexible for all types session types but I have found these do really well in this space. I would be thrilled to see what everyone else does in here because it is certainly not limited to these below!

We’ve got a killer collection of milestone props — perfect for newborns, toddlers, cake smashes, or clean, no-fuss portraits. All included with your booking, no upcharge, no gatekeeping.
Want to level it up? Use some of our seamless paper rolls for a bold backdrop (FREE to use), or bring your own props and set the scene your way.

Milestones

The couch setup is perfect for families, but don’t stop there — the light side of the room features a clean bed set made for soft, dreamy shots or minimalist vibes against white/black walls or a seamless backdrop. We’ve got an assortment of seamless rolls ready to go, but if you’ve got a specific look in mind, bring your own. This space flexes to your style — not the other way around.

Yes! Reach out to me via my contact form below and we can set aside some time for you to come and see the space before you book. Every new client is required to do a tour with me before using the space.
Need to cancel or reschedule? No problem — just give us at least 48 hours' notice to get a refund or move your session. You will not be refunded if you reach out the day before.
Booking in November or December?
These months are especially busy for holiday photos. Please reach out at least 7 days prior to cancel or reschedule your session.
Time is money. Don’t ghost your slot.
The studio is 1,100 square feet and has plenty of open space for you to use for your session.
When you arrive for your scheduled session, you will be the sole photographer on the premises! This ensures both you and your client can enjoy a private and comfortable atmosphere in the studio.
Yes! There is a counter top in the front lobby with a chair that is perfect for hair/makeup. I also have a Lume Cube Flex Light Pro that would be great for them to use as well for additional lighting if needed.
Multiple unique sets ready for you to customize with your unique style. Ample open space in our 1,100 sq. ft facility for you build your own looks with our vast selection of props and backdrops or bring your own.
About your rental:

Selected timeframe - this includes the setup and breakdown of your session.

Access to the prop room included in booking.

Large ADA accessible private bathroom is included in the space for you and your clients to use.

You will receive a custom code for the lock box as well as instructions on accessing the space within 24 hours of your session day. Your time starts exactly at the time you select. The box will not open earlier.

Payment in full is due at booking.

The elevator turns off after 8pm every day of the week. Keep that in mind when booking later sessions.

Black or white savage paper rolls is available for your session

All snacks and drinks in front lobby area are free for you and your clients.

I offer a large assortment of backdrops and savage paper rolls if interested.
There are additional backdrops, not photographed in the studio prop room on shelves you are welcome to use. The backdrops are all available to use as you wish but the savage paper rolls are an add on option except for black and white which is available for you to use as you wish.

Please keep in mind, if you want to use any of these options you are expected to set them up and break them down to return to where you found them.
Your rental period starts at the beginning of the agreed time and does not include any additional setup time. If you anticipate needing extra time for setup, hair, or makeup, we can add that to your agreement. Access to and from the studio is managed via a door lock, and you will be charged for any extra time used.
Yes. Put all props/items back where you found them and put the space back the way it was when you arrived. If you had animals in the space or the space got messy after your session(s), please vacuum the space so it is clean for the next client.
If you have done a cake smash or have a ton of session related trash, please be sure to take it with you. You can put it in the dumpster behind the building on your way out. There are trash bags in the prop room on one of the shelves.
Yes! There is a large parking lot at the building with plenty of parking for clients and yourself. When you arrive, park closest to the florist on the first level. You will go up the stairs or elevator to get to the second level where my studio is located.
If you are finding that you need more time than you have booked for your session, please reach out to Jackalope Photo Studio via text (you will receive a text day of with your door code so just use that thread). If there is the time after your session to add on more, we can do that for an additional fee based on what you need.
If something gets broken or damaged during your session, please reach out to Jackalope Photo Studio via text and show photos of what happened. There will likely be a damage charge for whatever happened unless it is basic wear and tear.
Food and drinks are permitted in the studio; however, to safeguard our furniture and bedding, we kindly ask that you do not bring them into the studio rooms. There are drinks in the mini fridge and snacks on the counter in the lobby space that you are able to have as well ;)
Pets are permitted on a case-by-case basis and require's prior approval before your session. Please contact us if you intend to bring a pet to Jackalope Photo Studio.

We keep it simple: all constant LED lights that are ridiculously easy to use. No fuss, no tech headaches — just plug it in, flip the switch, and you’re lit.
You’ll find two lights already in the main space — the LED wall and the Lume Cube XL.
The rest? They’re waiting for you in the prop room, ready when you are.
